Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Audit-Pro Ltd (“we”, “us”), company number 16429098, registered office 20 Hepworth Gardens, Wakefield, WF1 3FH, England, governing your use of the TightnessPro application (“the app”). By installing or using the app you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Licence (one engineer per subscription)

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your professional gas testing and reporting activities, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the App Store or Google Play.

The subscription is licensed per individual engineer (a single user). It is intended for one named person and the devices that person owns or controls. It must not be shared between multiple people, pooled or distributed across an organisation, or used to give access to any engineer other than the individual subscriber. Each engineer who uses TightnessPro must hold their own active subscription. We may suspend or terminate access where a single subscription appears to be used by more than one individual or shared across an organisation.

3. Subscription, free trial, and billing

• Access to the app requires an auto-renewing annual subscription, which may begin with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account on confirmation of purchase (or at the end of any free trial).
• The subscription renews automatically at the then-current annual price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or before the trial ends).
• You manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings; uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Pricing is shown in the app and in the store before purchase and may change for future periods, with notice as required by the stores.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we do not process payments directly.

4. Professional responsibility and disclaimer

TightnessPro is a calculation and reporting aid. It does not replace your professional judgement, applicable gas safety regulations, manufacturer instructions, or required physical testing procedures. You are solely responsible for the correctness of inputs, the interpretation of results, the safety of any work performed, and compliance with all applicable standards and laws. You must independently verify all results before relying on them.

5. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the app’s outputs, decisions made using the app, or any inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and not to use it unlawfully or in any way that could damage the service or other users.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content are owned by Audit-Pro Ltd and protected by law. These Terms grant you a licence to use the app, not ownership of it.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms and the app over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law provides otherwise.
